Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik vroeger slechts één singletje in huis had van Status Quo en dat was "Hold you back", een heerlijk intro en daarna effe lekker "rampestampe"...

Met de opkomst van de CD heb ik het één en ander gekocht van Quo en ik heb ze ook een paar keer live gezien...TOP!

Voor de echte Quo fan heb ik een 10-delige bootleg serie getiteld "Rare Cutz"...

Waarschijnlijk heeft de echte Quo fan al alles in huis, maar je weet het nooit...

FOELSBENT DOE MAAR

In 1978 stond Amsterdam even lekker op z'n kop tijdens het "Festival Of Fools".
Sommige bands, zoals Foelsbent Doe Maar, gingen ook even "vreemd" om in andere steden op te treden.
Foelsbent Doe Maar was een project van Ernst Janz en Piet Dekker (ex-Slumberlandband) en ze hadden de perfecte "fools" band op het podium staan.
Een paar zangers, wat zangeressen en wat clowns en hier en daar wat ranzige, humoristische teksten.
Dit had heel wat kunnen worden in de Nederpop geschiedenis, maar helaas...
Janz en Dekker besloten om daarna verder te gaan als Doe Maar... het leven is hard!
Foelsbent Doe Maar ging "vreemd" in "Vera" te Groningen en op één of andere manier zijn er opnames van (tape).
